Highlights of the National Treasures trip to Washington, D.C. may include visits to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Israeli Embassy and the new National Museum of African American History & Culture. We’ll hear from judges, journalists, politicians, and religious leaders such as Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Clarence Thomas, Senator Claire McCaskill, Congressman John Lewis and Rabbi David Saperstein!
4 Days and 3 Night Stay for two in the South Montgomery, AL to New Orleans, LA June 20-23, 2018*
Fly into Montgomery, AL and join us as we visit sites there as well as in Tuskegee and Selma. Visit the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom Riders Museum, Tuskegee Multicultural Center, Shiloh Rosenwald School, and walk the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Then we are off to New Orleans and the Whitney Plantation, a museum focused on slavery. Spend the weekend enjoying the sights and sounds of New Orleans!
