Sponsor A Student Society
The Sponsor A Student Society was founded in 2015 to recognize Cultural Leadership’s most dedicated circle of givers. These leaders in philanthropy make an annual commitment of $1,000 or more towards the Cultural Leadership Scholarship Fund to ensure that our award-winning curriculum continues impacting local middle and high school students of merit. Thank you for being a part of this legacy.
Together, your investment transforms the lives of local teens seeking to impact their communities. Thank you.
It’s been over ten years since Class 1 took its first steps to become change agents in January of 2004. Over the years, because of YOU, Cultural Leadership has grown and adapted to remain the award-winning youth organization that we all love and cherish.
Class 11 features 25 racially, economically, and geographically diverse teens from 16 different high schools in St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri. Each one is eager to hone their leadership skills and many have already begun leading the charge for change in creating a better world for all.

Join us for our annual Welcome Reception! We proudly assemble our most loyal supporters to meet current students and program alumni, network with other Sponsor A Student Society members, and learn how their giving impacts local youth leaders. Hosted by Dr. Ryia Ross Peterson and Mark Peterson, this intimate social gathering is designed to both celebrate and educate our community.
